14-07-2007  Guardian to build float glass factory in Ryazan | |
 Ryazan region Governor Georgy Shpak and Guardian Glass Ryazan director Yanos Egud signed an investment agreement on the construction of a plant in the region that will produce float glass, an official from the regional government's press service told Interfax. Investment in the project will total some 150 million euros. "The schedule for construction has been set for 2007-2009. The plant will create about 300 new jobs," the official said. The official did not say how big the plant would be, but noted it would be one of the largest in both Russia and Europe. The Ryazan regional government and Guardian Glass Ryazan signed a cooperation agreement on December 8, 2005. "Alliance Media" News Agency, based on the story by "Interfax"
